Ainovo Novo 7 Basic is an affordable $99 Android tablet that runs Ice Cream Sandwich that could first make you think about the Samsung Galaxy Tab model. But things are a little different and not necessary in the positive way. Ainovo Novo 7 Basic has a much weaker build quality and some of its features are not as we could expect.
The 800 x 480 LED display is the first disappointment and be prepared to forget about some your favorite Android apps too as long as they don’t run (Angry Birds Rio or Drawing Pad). You should also know that Ainovo Novo 7 Basic runs a MIPS-based 1-GHz Ingenic JZ4770 X-Burst CPU, also including 512MB of RAM, and comes with 8GB of storage space, which can be expanded using the 16GB microSD slot.
Its battery is able to last up to 7 hours and 5 minutes – we can’t complain about this number and Ainovo Novo 7 Basic also includes all the connectivity elements that we need: the HDMI and mini-USB ports, power sockets, or the standard 3.5mm headset jack. But are all these enough to make you forget about all the other disadvantages found on Ainovo Novo 7 Basic?
