Alpha a57 is a mid-range DSLR which was just announced by Sonny a few days ago. The best part is that we already know that is going to hit the stores no later than April and we know many of its major technical details.
Alpha a57 DSLR practically comes as a replacement of the Alpha a55 model and we must tell you from the start that it is able to shoot 10 frames-per-second at full resolution, as well as 12 frames-per-second at 8-megapixel resolution. And it packs a more than decent 16 mp CMOS sensor, so we can tell that Alpha a57 DSLR is perfect for sports photography.
Use your imagination with its various Picture Effects: wheatear is about Pop Color, Miniature Mode, or HDR Painting and be sure that your photos can be completely changed, not to mention the camera’s Auto Portrait Framing which automatically composes and crops the photos for the ideal portrait. As for the price, it seems that Alpha a57 DSLR will cost you $700 (for the body only option) or $800 if you want 18-55mm zoom lens too.
