HP Pavilion g6 is a 15-inch laptop which offers plenty of options for those looking for a cheap model. To be more specific, when we say cheap we have in mind a price of no more than $499, so its disadvantages can be mentioned, but we can’t actually complain about them taking in consideration the money spend on this HP Pavilion g6 model.
HP Pavilion g6 comes with a low screen resolution – its LED-backlit 15.6-inch widescreen offers the basic 1366 x 768 pixels resolution and there is no dedicated number pad, as well as a plastic construction telling us from the start that we are taking about an affordable model. But otherwise its design it’s pretty attractive for a budget notebook model.
HP Pavilion g6 also packs a 2.4-GHz Intel Core i3-370M processor having no less than 4GB of DDR3 RAM, as well as a 5,400-rpm 640GB hard drive. But once again we have a problem given by the lack of some basic connectivity options: eSATA, DisplayPort, ExpressCard slot, or an USB 3.0 port. Probably this could be balanced by the fact that its 6-cell battery is able to resist around four hours of battery life per charge.
