Here we have another Lenovo product – IdeaPad U400. Is not exactly new, but its design looks good and feels great and its price is not an element that we could complain about. The problem comes from another sector – the mediocre graphics performance provided by this laptop.
But as long as it has a price of $899.99, we can bet there are numerous users which could consider it their best option. Its 2.4GHz Intel Core i5-2430M is a dual-core processor model and Lenovo IdeaPad U400 also packs a 14-inch screen with a maximum 1,366-by-768 resolution. As connectivity options, you get no less than three USB ports, two USB 2.0 and one faster USB 3.0, a HDMI port which lets you connect the laptop to a monitor or HDTV, a headset jack , Gigabit Ethernet port, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, or WiDi 2.0.
Microsoft Office Starter 2010 is of course preinstalled and you also get full versions of Absolute Data Protect, Microsoft Security Essentials and Google’s Chrome browser, as well as other utilities among we can mention Lenovo Enhanced Experience Boot Optimizer or Lenovo OneKey Recover. And Lenovo IdeaPad U400’s 54Wh battery is able to last up to 6 hours.
